Klipsch announces a pair of high-end soundbars promising to feature the look and sound of the premium Klipsch Reference speakers-- the BAR 48 and BAR 40, each featuring an own wireless subwoofer and enclosures in real wood.
The BAR 48 is a 3.1 soundbar featuring a dedicated centre channel speaker for enhanced clarity, a wireless 8-inch subwoofer for deep bass and built-in surround sound processing technologies such as Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, DTS and DTS-HD. Designed to fit below the TV screen, the slim-profile soundbar is 1.2m long and just 7cm tall, and can be either wall-mounted or placed on a table.
Josh.ai announces a partnership with Barco bringing control to high-end Barco Medea, Balder, Loki and Bragi Cinemascope residential projectors through the Josh.ai voice and app interfaces.
Once connected to the network, Josh.ai auto-populates the Barco projectors. There is no limit to the number of projectors in one home, giving custom installers more possibilities with home integrations. The Josh.ai portal provides a seamless setup process with visibly diagrammed HDMI input configurations. Once the system is complete, customers can ask the Josh Micro to play content they want in the room they want from anywhere in the house.
InfoComm 2019 sees Crestron expand the DM Lite endpoint line with the HD-RX-4K-510-C-E and HD-RX-4K-410-C-E receivers, both offering auto-switching, amplified audio outputs and network connectivity.
The DM Lite line offers simple yet high-performance transmitters and receivers able to switch and transport 4K signals over standard CAT5e cable. Also included is optional auto-switching, network connectivity, audio and video distribution, control distribution and audio amplification. Customers can mix and match DM Lite products to create simple systems for most spaces.
Customers simply need to pair any DM Lite receiver with a Crestron MPC3 media presentation controller to add room control. Engraveable buttons and dials on the MPC3 can be configured with the built-in .AV Framework software. The system can be provisioned, monitored and managed using any web browser via Crestron XiO Cloud IoT-based provisioning system.
