The Spears & Munsil UHD HDR Benchmark adds more features and patterns, and promises to bring precision and attention to the calibration and evaluation of UHD displays. As such, it provides a range of test and demonstration materials to let both professionals and amateur determine what displays are displays, identify weak links in hardware and software, and dial in optimal settings for both current and future hardware.
The SoundTube Entertainment IPD-Hub2 brings IP-based PoE technology to both commercial and residential markets with an alternative to traditional audio distribution systems. The IPD-Hub2 uses Dante infrastructure and Attero Tech uniFY software to provide performance monitoring and EQ/DSP control to individual speakers from any computer with a network connection.
Offered in white to blend in with home decor, the module features a decorator inlet strap to provide the flexibility of ganging other connection. The power output module includes a 1.8m UL-rated power cable. A tamper-resistant outlet with a recessed design accommodates almost any type of power plug, including right angles and wall warts, while a bush strap opening allows the connection of AV cables.
The update provides support for the Autonomic line of products within the Clare smart home ecosystem, allowing users and installers to control existing audio systems and stream music from services such as Spotify, TuneIn, Pandora, iHeartRadio and others from the ClareHome app. Functionality includes the ability to group speakers within the home, control playback, adjust volume and view album information, among others.
