French audio vendor Trinnov presents a successor to the Altitude32-- the Altitude16, a more affordable home cinema processor option featuring the same core technologies, including a proprietary DSP.

The Altitude16 renders up to 16 discrete channels of information, and features Dolby Atmos, Auro-3D and DTS:X immersive audio decoders. It natively processes high-resolution 24/96 audio, and Trinnov claims it has no limit in terms of subwoofer outputs. Also included is support for 4-way active crossovers.

French audio vendor StormAudio launches a first at ISE 2018-- the ISP 3D.20 Elite, a processor featuring 20-XLR outputs while incorporating the same capabilities as the 16- and 32-channel models.

The ISP 3D.20 is ideal for theatres with a for more than 16 channels, such as those requiring mulitple subwoofers or are configured for all 3 immersive sound formats. It includes compatiblity with Auro-3D, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X supports, as well as calibration via both DiracLive and remote monitoring via the company's own StormMonitoring.

RTI announces the acquisition of the video-over-IP distribution solution from Miravue, bolstering its efforts to provide dealers with a comprehensive, end-to-end solution.

As a result, RTI now offers the RTI Miravue VIP-1-- a video-over-IP system for scalable AV distribution over ethernet, coax and wireless networking. The VIP-1 acts as a transmitter, receiver, network switch and wireless access point, lowering AV distribution costs by reducing cabling and installation time.

Blind control maker QMotion highlights the QiS system at ISE 2018-- a two-way wireless control system for automated roller shades featuring quiet-running motorised blinds suitable for retrofit projects.

Installers can deploy a QMotion QiS system in single or multiple rooms within a property, and receive feedback on automated shade positioning for improved performance, remote monitoring and maintenance. One can group blinds for automated raising and lowering to four selected, programmable positions. Safety braking ensures blinds never pass over the top of the roller when rising, and a manual-override command allows customers to operate the blind by hand when required without damaging the mechanism inside.

Portable projector maker Pico Genie brings its latest consumer offering at ISE 2018-- the M550 Plus, a pico projector that, at 650 lumens, is the company's brightest yet.

The M550 Plus beams 1280x800 resolution images in dimensions of to 200-inch diagonal from 0.5 - 3m distance. It offers 3D as well as regular 2D images, and promises a battery life of up to 3 hours on a single charge. The contrast ratio is 1000:1, while lamp life clocks at around 20000 hours. Audio is also included via 3W speakers.
