Savant joins forces with USAI Lighting to offer an educational platform complete with online tools for installers wanting to add lighting fixture sales and installations to their services.
Designed to give installers the confidence required to succeed within the growing lighting category, the toolset includes Fixture Designer-- an interactive tool aimed at helping installers understand the variety of options available in each fixture style, including available colour technologies, housing options and trim finishes. Once fixtures are selected, the installer gets detailed pricing, fixture specification sheets, IES photometric files and associated part numbers.
The VIP-1 acts as transmitter and receiver, reducing the amount of components, cabling and installation time required. It uses JPG 2000 compression to convert 1080p HDMI video to H.264 with Dolby 5.1 audio over 100Mbps network. The built-in scaler matches the maximum resolution of the target display, while automatically providing stereo downmixing and lip-sync adjustments.
The short throw projectors beam a 100-inch image on a screen or wall from just 1m distance, while the ultra short throw models can project a 100-inch imaage from just 55cm. All models offer WXGA resolution, except for the XGA ZX310STe, while brightness clocks at 3500 ANSI lumens, with the exception of the 3600 ANSI lumens ZW310STe.
The XRT1.1K features nano-carbon drivers and a four-way ported arrangement. In total it carries 70 drive units in a line-array configuration, with 4 bass drivers, 2 low-frequency mid-range drivers, 24 upper-frequency mid-range drivers and 40 tweeters. The bass and low-frequency drivers come directly from the XRT2.1K, and are housed in an own dedicated cabinet beneath the line array. The design handles up to 1200W of power, 800W less than the XRT2.1K.
The switcher is HDCP 2.2 compliant and supports video resolutions up to 4K2K@60Hz, 4:4:4 (10-bit colour) and multi-channel digital audio. It also supports independent, built-in 18x12 digital audio matrix with volume and delay tuning, and can handle high resolution digital audio formats including LPCM 7.1, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD Master Audio.
The Elevation home automation hub combines the advantages of local processing and cloud-based IoT connectivity. The update adds the integration of smart speakers such as the Amazon Echo and Google Home, providing voice control through Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.
