SnapAV joins forces with Clare, the provider of security and home automation products, in an alliance making SnapAV the exclusive source for Clare while pushing it closer to becoming a Crestron competitor.
Clare end-users can add security system monitoring, giving dealers the opportunity to earn recurring revenue. Additionally, Clare handles system management and updates, meaning dealers need to spend less time on the road and more time increasing profits. The partnership also includes increased service and support for connected devices and remote management integration with OvrC on popular Clare products.
The mid-year will also see the TVs receive a firmware upgrade adding Apple AirPlay 2 and HomeKit support, allowing easy connectivity with iDevices, as well as an update adding Alexa support to complement the currently included Google Assistant. As such, the company claims it is only TV maker to offer support for both leading AI platforms without need for additional hardware.
Initially aimed at the high-end residential market, the Sonic sensor is easily installed under the sink. It uses the aforementioned ultrasonic technology in conjunction with AI algorithms to detect anything from a slow dripping tap to a burst water pipe. In case of leak detection the Sonic sends an alert to homeowners via companion app, and can even automatically shut off the water supply to prevent water damage.
The display comes equipped with scratch- and smudge-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass, all within a distinctive enclosure with a sleek, sweeping back. Power over Ethernet allows it to receive both power and communications over a single ethernet cable, and the design makes it ideal for any environment requiring a tabletop touchpanel with a fully-customisable interface.
TCD helps installers design and create cinema or media rooms using products from a wide range of manufacturers. Dynaudio products currently available on TCD include the Emit and Contour hifi speaker ranges, together with the Cinema Master 60 reference LCR speaker, the Studio series architectural range and the Sub3 and Sub6 active subwoofer. Future products will be added as they hit the market.
The DIN-THSTAT provides 3-stage heating and cooling, support for x3 independent remote sensor inputs (through the Crestron CHV-RTS, CHV-RTHS, or CHV-RSS temperature sensors), full colour LCD display for easy setup and diagnostics, and flexible Cresnet communications. It installs in an equipment cabinet or a wall, and the cabinet can be flush or surface mounted.
