Wall-Smart announces a partnership with Atlona offering flush mounts allowing installers to integrate Atlona Velocity touchpanels in new construction, retrofit and solid surface installations.
The New Construction Flush mounts for Atlona Velocity AT-VTP-550 5.5-inch and AT-VTP-800 8inch touchpanels integrate into any wall for unobtrusive installations preserving the room decor. They can also be painted any colour to truly appear to be part of the wall.
Meanwhile the retrofit mounts for Velocity touchpanels allow upgraders from older touchpanels, without need to do any drywall or paintwork. The mounted touchpanel remains accessible for service and maintenance. Finally, the flush mounts for solid surfaces allow flush installation in solid wood, marble, metal and other solid boards.
Zero-G has no black mask above the viewing surface. Instead, the screen is housed inside a two-piece tube suspended from Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMwPE) cables. It deploys at a pre-set location and unrolls itself, displaying the viewing surface with up to 5m of drop.
Known in the US as the Q8F, the Q8D does not have the peak brightness of the flagship Q9FN, even if promises a boost over other OLED displays with Q Contrast Plus promising "pristine contrast" and an anti-reflective covering improving daylight viewing. Samsung adds bright screens can affect colour, bringing about 100% colour volume technology for a "stunning visual experience" when paired with HDR.
Made by fellow Italian and audio specialist iXoost (pronounced like "exhaust"), the P Zero Sound features a 6.5-inch aluminium rim framing a 25mm inch silk tweeter and 10cm mid/bass driver, and powering it is a 100W amplifier and digital signal processor. Wireless connectivity comes through Bluetooth 4.0 with AptX.
The SR6013 is a 9-channel model, with processing for 11 channels through additional amplification. It is rated at 185W per channel, and features the Marantz Current Feedback design and HDAMs, plus separate DACs for each room. Room calibration comes through Audyssey MultEQ X32. The AVR handles all 4K video formats, with 4K/60 Hz full-rate passthrough, 4:4:4 color resolution, HDR and BT.2020, plus Dolby Vision compatibility and Hybrid Log Gamma. Connectivity comes through x8 HDMI inputs, and eARC support is included.
The PRO-1200SW is a 12-inch in-wall subwoofer aimed at new construction in standard 16-inch OC bays. It features a long-throw Cerametallic woofer with reverse rolled surround providing dynamic, balanced and low frequencies in a behind-the-drywall design keeping it hidden from view. It joins the existing PRO-1000SW (10-inch woofer) in-wall subwoofer in the series.
