The InfoComm 2019 lineup from Just Add Power includes the 767DSS Dante Enhanced Sound System transmitter-- a means to add compatibility with Dante and AES67 audio networks to Ultra HD over IP systems, with separate audio and video switching.
The 767DSS transmitter supports the latest Dante 8-channel chipset. It allows installers to input up to 8 audio channels from the J+P system for playout on Dante-enabled and AES67 devices and extract up to 8 channels from the audio network for playout across the J+P system. The 767DSS is backward-compatible with legacy 2-channel Dante and AES67 devices, while offering higher performance with lower compression (176.4 and 192kHz) and latency as low as 0.25 milliseconds on Gigabit ethernet. Built-in secondary connectivity provides glitch-free performance and redundancy for high-availability applications.
The ESC-D is targeted at industry veterans with at least 5 years of experience, particularly those with backgrounds as designers. The effort to update the ESC-D exam includes a Job Task Analysis Survey, beta exam and direct engagement from a core group of volunteers. The content of the exam also better alights with the scope and demands of the profession, and is crafted from a more global perspective.
The battery inside the Rålis promises up to 20 hours of wireless playtime, and can even double as a power bank via built-in USB-A port. Wireless connectivity comes through Bluetooth 5.0, allowing users to pair x2 phones with up to 10m distance, and a 3.5mm jack provides means to add a 3rd device.

The XT2 looks near-identical to the XT, with a similarly weather-resistant (IP65-rated) body. It records 1080p video, and includes 2-way audio complete with Alexa support. Thus, users can view a live feed from the camera on an Amazon Echo Spot, Echo Show or Fire TV device by simply saying "Alexa, show me the [camera name]."
As 4K enters the mainstream and 8K starts breaking through, the HDMI 2.1 specification becomes increasingly desirable for customers in both the residential and commercial segments of the market. As such, the HD8K and PROHD8K cable lines are backwards compatible, and should address the needs of 8K installations and beyond.
