The recently announced Sonos One gets an accessory range from Sonos specialist Flexson, including a wall mount, floor stand, desk stand and a selection of replacement power cables.

The accessories are "precision engineered" to fit the Sonos One, and as such address a key design change-- the removal of the fixing-screw recess found on the PLAY:1.

The wall mount is designed for a seamless fit, and has a tilting and swivel mechanism (15-degrees down, and 40-degrees left/right) allowing installers to angle the speaker for optimum performance. One can also invert it to securely hold the Sonos One upside down, making controls and microphone more accessible in case of mounting higher up a wall.

ControlWorks releases a module allowing Crestron control systems to control DoorBird IP door stations, complete with two-way SIP voice communications, camera viewing and door release relay control.

It also provides status reporting for doorbell button presses and motion, and allows for extensive programming capabilities.

Researchers warn of a serious flaw in the WPA2 protocol securing all wifi networks-- one allowing attackers to steal passwords, emails and other supposedly encrypted data!

Dubbed Key Reinstallation Attacks (or KRACKs), such attacks even allow those with malicious intent to inject ransomware and malware into a website a user is visiting, all while simply being in range of a vulnerable device. These can be any wifi-capable device, although the flaw is "particularly devastating" in the case of Linux and Android 6.0.

How does KRACK works? As the researchers put it, attackers can duplicate a vulnerable WPA2 network, impersonate the MAC address and change the wifi channel. The fake network acts as a "man in the middle," forcing devices to connect to the rogue network instead of the protected original.

Yale announces the iM1 Network Module-- the means for customers to add Apple Homekit support to Assure Lock products-- is finally available, following months of delay.

The iM1 is an add-on module for a pair of Yale products, the Assure Lock SL (YRD256) and the Assure Lock Key Free Touchscreen (YRD246). It pairs with the Yale Secure companion app to allow customers check battery status, manage up to 25 PIN codes, see current lock status, customise lock settings, name a lock or add a new lock.

Germany's Loewe presents what it describes as an "entry-level" 4K TV range-- the Bild 3, offering sets in 43-, 49- and 55-inch sizes at lower costs than the high-end Bild 7 and Bild 9 ranges.

The 43-inch (model 3.43) and 49-inch (3.49) models feature LCD panels with support for HDR 10 and Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG). The 55-inch version ups the ante with an OLED panel and the addition of Dolby Vision HDR.

All models offer an integrated 80W with 4 drivers, 2 passive radiators and a bass reflex port, together with access to streaming services such as Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime TV, BBC iPlayer and Tidal. Bluetooth support is also included for wireless music playback.
