Ethereal shows off its HDM-CAT6SC-- a HDMI over category cable system needing a single CAT5/6/7 cable.
The system includes TMDS re-clocking correction on by Tx and Rx and video detection indicators on both Tx and Rx (enabling easy video problem diagnostics).
The DDC diagnostics features improved HDCP and EDID analysis, and the system carries hotplug detect verification as part of its HDMI start up procedure.
The system also measures and corrects video loss over the entire cable's length, and is fully capable for 3D, 4K 2K and Deep Colour.
The HDM-CAT6SC supports full HDMI 1.4 without Ethernet up to 100' (with hopping capabilities for up to 4x the distance). It carries a 5 volt supply on transmitter.
