British high-end DAC maker Computer Audio Design (CAD) launches what it claims is a USB cable designed to "maximise sound quality from USB-equipped music playback systems"-- the CAD Cable.
The cable is designed by Scott Berry, the man behind the company's 1543 DAC. It promises to eliminate high-frequency noise from PC audio sources, while proprietary technology produces a low-noise interconnect.
It also uses a highly shield independent cable as a power line in order to minimise the impact of high-frequency noise from the USB interface.
