Vivotek updates the VAST 2 video management software with several advanced features, such as Smart Search II deep learning technology, cybersecurity protection and license plate recognition integration.
Smart Search II builds on deep-learning video content analytics, and allows users to search for specific objects and people in a specific region. A People Detection feature means only people-based activities serve as event triggers. Thus, a security operator does not need to search through extensive footage for critical videos, improving efficency and effectiveness.
VAST 2 is fully integrated with Vivotek cameras and NVRs, and becomes a powerful cybersecurity central management site. Protection includes instant alert notifications, sending automatic notifications to users, and a Cyber Risk Dashboard to visually identify common cyberattacks. Users can filter attack logs according to a range of criteria, making it easier to find abnormal events and take necessary action.
Finally, VAST 2 integrates with the Vivotek IB9387-LPR LPR/Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) camera. Users can see live images with selected information, such as confidence level or black list status, and in turn use it as a trigger source in Alarm Management, making it easy to manage license plate data.
