Zyxel announces a "lifestyle" camera-- the Aurora Cloud Access Camera, a means for customer to monitor their homes, with real-time mobile notifications adding an extra layer of security.
The Aurora has a "premium" image sensor able to capture high-resolution video under low-light conditions. A 4-in-1 design allows indoor mounting via stand, wall-mount kit and magnetic mount, while a smartphone app provides setup, recording schedules, motion detection zones, watching of live or recorded video, event notifications and speaking through the camera.
It carries 16GB of internal storage for continuous recording, and is compatible with the Synology NVR and Surveillance Station for scalable storage. This extends the camera's capabilities to public cloud, desktop management, intelligent video analysis and multi-cam monitoring on a single screen.
