The Android-Powered Optoma IntelliGO-S1

Optoma launches the IntelliGO-S1-- a projector powered by Android OS, with an included Aptoide open source app store offering over 700000 apps, including streaming services such as Amazon, Hulu, Netflix, Pandora and Spotify.

IntelliGOThe projector includes 8GB of storage, built-in media player and wireless connectivity, ensuring playback of virtually any media. Customers can also play content via USB drive or micro SD card, as well as Android/iOS device screen mirroring via wifi. Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity allows the addition of speakers, headphones, mouse and even keyboards.

Actual projection comes through RGB LED light source with a lifetime reaching 20000 hours. Image resolution is up to 1280 x 800, with 500 lumens brightness and 15000:1 contrast ratio. Built-in 2W speakers provide audio.

"The mobile market is ripe for expansion, and we knew to grow this market, we had to offer a projector that was as easy to operate as a TV, laptop, or any other consumer device," Optoma says.
