German premium TV maker Loewe announces what it claims is a first-- KNX integration via add-on control module, the result of cooperation with fellow German firm ISE.
First presented at Light+Building 2018, the ISE KNX module enables seamless integration with any KNX-based install. As a result installers get more opportunities to integrate TVs within a smart home environment. The module can control up to two Loewe TVs simultaneously.
For instance one can pre-program the Loewe set to switch on in the morning, or interact with a smart lighting system. The TV can also become part of an occupied home simulation as part of a security setup, or simply switch off when users leave the room or house.
The KNX module for Loewe TVs will come complete with certified IP and RS232 drivers for Crestron and Control4, plus drivers for Savant and RTI.
