CEDIA and HAA: Home Theatre Audio Calibration Workshop

CEDIA

CEDIA partners with the HAA (Home Acoustic Alliance) to offer a dedicated audio calibration course for installers working on hi-end home cinemas.

The HAA Audio Calibration course will take place at the HQ of Bowers & Wilkins in Worthing, UK from 16th-19th October 2012, with options for delegates to attend one, two or all four days of education and become HAA Level 1 and Level 2 certified.

The HAA TurboCal Certification Workshop on 16th October is designed to introduce the concept of audio calibration, looking at Sonic Evaluation, Component Verification, Design Adjustment and Electronic Calibration. The “hands-on” workshop will teach all the skills required for success up to basic pre-pro settings and the creation of a TurboCal report, enabled by the AVPro software.

Students then have the option to further their learning by attending the one-day HAA Level I Certification Seminar on 17th October. With a curriculum covering theory and practical information, this session will focus on solutions to common installation problems. Recognised by THX, Harman International, Triad, SpectraCal and many others, this course will change the way dealers approach their business and provide a clear return on investment.

On 18th and 19th October delegates can attend the HAA Level II Certification Workshop. This two day intensive curriculum provides the practical components to HAA education in Sound Quality Management, connecting the theory, technology and experience of great sonic performance. Successful candidates for the HAA Level II Certification join an elite group of industry professionals who demonstrate the high performance top of our industry.
