Fibaro Doubles Production With New Factory

Polish smart home specialist Fibaro opens a new factory in Wysogotowo, near Poznan, Poland, a move the company says allows it to double production capacity to almost 4 million smart home devices per year.

Fibaro factoryIn addition, Fibaro says, the facility will allow it to speed up the design and production process of future products and concepts. The factory uses advanced production machinery from Yamaha, Ersa and Nordson Asymtek, and operates in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISE 14001:2015 standards. Fibaro adds designing and manufacturing products in Poland brings a logistical advantage over competitors, not to mention the new factory provides employees with a more comfortable and modern working environment.

"When we realise that less than a decade ago, under miserable conditions-- in a regularly flooded garage-- we have created the first prototypes of Fibaro devices, the more successful we celebrate today’s new factory and it gets more and more spectacular," CEO Maciej Fiedler says. "I’m glad we’ve made such a big jump over the last few years. Success that we have achieved together is a confirmation that sky is the limit. Fantastic feeling like this to build something from scratch and see that giants like Google or Apple, and most importantly the users around the world appreciate it so much."

Products made in the factory will go to over 100 markets, in countries ranging from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego, from Azores to Kamchatka, Seoul, Tokyo, Singapore, Mumbai and Johannesburg.
