Control4 home automation systems gain control of more audio systems with drivers for Russound and Cabasse products, simplifying integration with the popular control platform.
The drivers are compatible with the Russound MCA-66, MCA-88 and the streamer equipped MCA-88X controller amplifiers, as well as the XZon4 four-zone multi-room amplifier and the legacy X5 and DMS3.1 streams. The result allows Control4 installers to specify Russound multiroom audio products in their systems.
As for Cabasse systems, the drivers provide two-way control of the Stream whole house audio streaming range, including the StreamBASE and StreamBAR soundbase and soundbar, via TCP/IP. Discrete preset selection lets users choose music from the Control4 interface, while comprehensive metadata feedback enhances the user experiences and adds instant synchronisation with other applications.
