Access Networks Intros Wifi 6 Certified WAP

Access Networks announces the A750-- a Wifi 6 certified wireless access point the company says bridges the performance gap from "gigabit" to "multi-gigabit" wifi to support customer demand for better and faster networking.

A750 Access Point

The A750 handles up to 1024 client connections with increased capacity and improved coverage. Such capability is useful in ultra-dense environments, where the proximity of many individual wifi networks often impedes performance. In addition, the A750 connects more devices simultaneously with built-in eight spatial streams (4x4:4 in GHz and 2.4GHz), MU-MIMO, OFDMA technology and over 4000 unique antenna patterns.

A fully functional Wifi 6 network requires all devices on the network to be Wifi 6 compliant. However the A750 can still communicate with legacy wifi, just without support for the multi-device communications features inherent to Wifi 6 compliant components. Wifi 6 certification validates seamless interoperability with other Wifi 6 certified devices, allowing for multi-gigabit access speeds by using the built-in 2.5GbE port to connect to multi-gigabit switches.

Also included is WPA3, the latest wifi security standard, for enhanced security of devices on the network.
