AudioControl launches the Concert AVR-7 and AVR-9-- a pair of AV receivers featuring Dolby Atmos, 4K, HDMI 2.0a, HDCP 2.2 and, in an AudioControl first, DIRAC Live support.
The AVR-9 carries a high-current 7 x 200W per channel amplifier creating a powerful audio platform the company claims transforms customers' movie watching experiences into a "movie lover's nirvana." The AVR-7 carries the same A/V platform, but with a 7-channel amp powering 100W per channel into 8 ohms.
The two AVRs feature 4 high-performance Dolby Atmos pre-amp outputs ideal for pairing with amplifiers such as the 2-channel AudioControl Bijou 600 or Rialto 600. Further connectivity comes through 7 HDMI 2.0a inputs, 4 coax SPDIF, 2 Toslink digital audio inputs, 6 stereo analog inputs, USB port and ethernet. Also included are ARC compatible 2nd zone HDMI outputs.
DIRAC Live room correction allows for flexible room calibration, while surround modes include Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Digital EX, Dolby Digital 5.1, Dolby Pro Logic IIx, DTS-HD Master Audio and DTS-X. Being designed for the custom install channel the Concert AVRs also feature compatiblity with home controls systems from Control4, Crestron, RTI and Savant.
