CasaTunes launches the CasaTunes 12X8 matrix-- a combination of audio matrix switch, six stereo 110W power amplifiers and two dedicated pre-amplified outputs aimed at applications demanding high-end home audio distribution.
With 12 input sources available, the CasaTunes 12X8 is designed to work with two-, three-, five- and eight-stream music servers from the company. Any unused input sources can connect with various audio components, such as TVs, STBs, Google Chromecast, Amazon Echo Link, Sonos Connect and Port devices, phonographs and the like. Customers can listen to input sources in any rooms or a combination of rooms, with the built-in hardware audio switch promising perfect synchronisation with near-zero latency.
If the application requires more power, the CasaTuns 12X8 offers two pre-amplified and trigger outputs customers can use to connect to, and control, a secondary power amplifier. In addition, the number of rooms configured can be further expanded through the addition of up to seven additional CasaTunes 12X8 units, for a total of 96 rooms.
The CasaTunes 12X8 supports eight optional keypads installers can assign to any rooms. Two different types of keypads are available-- a simple pus-button keypad or an advanced touchpanel. Both integrate an IR receiver able to relay IR signals to the source equipment selected for the room. A built-in LCD touchpanel allows for setup and maintenance.
Further features include system and zone protection, subwoofer pre-amplification filter support, gain adjustment for each input source and output, configurable audio delays, preset support and multiple EQ settings for each room, including a seven-band parametric equaliser, loudness, bass, treble and balance.
