Wilson Audio Presents Sasha DAW Floorstanders

Wilson Audio announces the Sasha DAW-- an update on the original Sasha and Sasha Series 2 loudspeakers, featuring a modular design with a separate upper midrange/treble and lower bass enclosures.

Sasha DAWThe Sasha is the descendant of the WATT/Puppy, the loudspeaker/subwoofer combo built by Wilson Audio founder Dave Wilson back in 1985. The Sasha DAW is a the work of Dave Wilson's son, Daryl, and has been designed as an all-new loudspeaker. It consists of an upper enclosure with the same 17.85cm midrange driver and 2.54cm tweeter from the WAMM Master Chronosonic loudspeaker, while the lower enclosure carries two redesigned 20.3cm bass drivers.

Both enclosures are built using proprietary ultra-vibration resistant "X-material" and "S-material" composites, with the lower enclosure using thicker X-material panels to reduce panel resonances and augment bass performance. The modular design allows the alignment of drivers according to the installation, for precise time domain regulation. The result, the company promises, is "exceptional levels of sonic detail, dynamic range, transient speed and soundstage focus deliver an engrossingly realistic music performance.”

The Sasha DAW ships from November 2018.
