Igloohome announces a pair of smart home security products-- the Deadbolt 2S, described by the company as the slimmest smart deadbolt in the world, and the Smart Keybox 2 connected lockbox.
The Deadbolt 2S is 11m thick at the front panel, and provides keyless access to homes via either Bluetooth keys or PIN codes created through companion Igloohome app. The physical key remains an option as backup, and the Deadbolt 2S needs no internet connectivity, making it safe from wifi hacking attacks. Finally, customers renting out property via Airbnb can also synchronise the Deadbolt 2S with a listing calendar to automatically create PIN codes for guests. Further features include a tamper alarm, decoy security code, privacy mode and auto-relocking.
Metra Home Theatre Group (MTHG) announces an integration of the Spyclops fixed position IP security cameras with Control4 EA controllers, T3 touchscreens and the companion app for iOS and Android devices.
The SI8000 features a built-in IP cameras allowing users to receive video calls when visitors ring the doorbell. An integrated strike provides the capability to unlock the door. Through integration with the RTI ecosystem residents can answer and unlock the door from intercom-compatible RTI controllers.
The Alexa-compatible Yale locks come from the ASsure Lock smart deadbolt line, and the integration requires either pairing with a compatible smart home hub or an Amazon Echo Plus (via ZigBee). An Alexa lock skill allows unlocking via voice commands. The unlock feature is off by default, and is enabled through verification of Amazon credential using the Alexa app.
