Bjurab Euroscreen, the Swedish projection screen manufacturer with offices also and warehousing at Corby in the UK, launches new products at this year’s CEDIA in London. Included is an innovative new screen material called ReAct!

TabTension-App-Bjurab

New screen types added to the Bjurab range, will include the company’s first tab-tension models. These are electric screens, available in a wide variety of sizes and formats, which have a cable system running down each side of the screen to keep the surface taut and smooth, ideal for high-end and home cinema applications.

All of the above screen types from Bjurab, and many others in their existing range, can now be equipped with the revolutionary new ReAct material. This features a dual coated surface to control ambient light.

Cineversum BlackWing in AWE at CEDIA

AWE SurpriseAWE will showcase brand innovations for Cineversum, Philips Pronto and Pioneer and reveal details of its new distribution agreement with Imerge on stands D14 and D15 at CEDIA Expo 2008 in London.

The Cineversum BlackWing Three HD projector will be on display for the first time in the UK and can be scrutinised by visitors in the on-stand home cinema demo room. This 1080p D-iLA projector has a full-glass optical lens, motorized zoom and focus and is compatible with Cineversum’s Theatre Concept Kit to enable anamorphic projection on demand.

From its screens portfolio AWE will be showing another UK first, the brand new G9 Pioneer PDP-LX509D 50” Kuro screen. New Panasonic 8 series of screens will also be on show, with much improved black levels plus toughened glass fronts in response to an increasing number of Wii accidents!! Also look out for a European first from Panasonic.

Visitors to the stand will be able find out more about Imerge media and sound servers for which AWE is now the only authorised distributor in the UK.

AWE will also have hands-on demos for the Pronto TSU-9200, TSU-9400 and the TSU-9600. The AWE Solutions House will act as the star attraction, showing how equipment from a range of AWE brands (including Imerge, Denon, Panasonic, Philips and a soon to be announced lighting system) can be controlled in a live, integrated whole house set-up using the Philips Pronto.

Mitsubishi Brings High End Home
