URC Integrates With Lutron QSX HomeWorks Processors

URC launches a two-way IP module allowing installers to integrate the Total Control system with the Lutron QSX HomeWorks processors, specifically the recently available HQP7-1 and HQP7-2 processors.

“This two-way IP module, developed natively by URC engineers in collaboration with Lutron, provides easy control of Lutron’s HomeWorks system and allows dealers to mix and match Lutron’s QS Wired and Wireless lighting systems for control from any URC Total Control user interface,” URC says.  “Better yet, it is easy for Total Control dealers to integrate since Total Control will pull in the programming from the Lutron system into the Total Control program.”

KinoServer’s KinoKube was born in Italy from the desire to create a Roon server with top performance.

“To achieve this, our philosophy has been to optimize the project both from the hardware and the software point of view. Using a fanless configuration was a good starting point, but we wanted to go beyond,” says Kinoserver’s Francesco Maglione.

“Going beyond” in this case meant first solving the issue of heat: from the delidding intervention on the CPU, to replacing the normal thermal paste with a liquid metal fluid to lower CPU temperature by 20 degrees, to creating a huge aluminum heat sink with the case itself.

BluOS Reaches Version 3.8

Crestron Adds Features to DM DVX Platform

Crestron adds features to the DM NVX 1Gbps AV-over-IP platform at ISE 2020-- including native AES67 support and a switching system the company claims is both fast and glitch-free.
