Sonance adds a sound system option for residential and commercial projects with the Pro Series PS-S210SUBT, a 100V bandpass subwoofer featuring a very shallow design, allowing for deployment in a range of specialised applications.

The PS-S210SUBT comes inside a slimline polyurethane-coated laminated-plywood enclosure measuring 228 x 350mm. Inside are twin 10-inch low profile, high excursion drivers. A choice of front or side cabinet port locations offers additional installation versatility for applications such as placing under furniture, on walls or mounted to the sides of the rafters.

British hifi specialist iFi Audio follows on the Zen Blue high-resolution streamer with the Zen DAC, a USB DAC/headphone amp designed for home use customers can connect to PCs, Macs or any smart devices with a USB port.

It carries high-resolution digital-to-analog conversion technology the company says can process all forms of digital audio to a super-high standard, while the integrated analog headphone amplifier delivers quality sound to all headphone types, from in-ear monitors to larger on- and over-ear designs. Customers can also use it with a home audio system, and whether hooked with headphohnes, external amp or active speakers, they get a choice of a single-ended or balanced connection.

Simaudio launches the Moon 680D-- a more affordable sibling to the 780D v2 streaming DAC offering support for nearly all kinds of digital music library, as well as Roon and MQA file compatibility.

The Moon 680D acts as both a DAC and a network streamer. It can handle PCM decoding up to 32-bit/384kHZ and DSD256 digital audio files,and offers a full range of digital inputs (USB, AES/EBU, SPDIF, optical, ethernet, wif and aptX audio for Bluetooth). A MiND 2 streaming module caters for a number of high-resolution music services, including Tidal Masters, Qobuz Sublime+ and Deezer Hifi.

Glasgow-made hifi specialist Linn announces a first Bluetooth wireless speaker-- the Series 3, an egg-shaped number based on the Linn streaming platform offering plug and play setup, another first for the company.

The distinctive cabinet of the Series 3 is in cast mineral ceramic, and includes an electro-plated gold grille. It carries a 19mm silk dome tweeter and a 160mm long throw mid-base woofer, together with two 100W Class D amplifiers. The speaker is high-resolution enabled up to 24-bit 192kHz, and supports FLAC, ALAC, WAV, MP3, WMA, AIFF, AAC and Ogg files (but not MQA). Proprietary Exakt technology claims to reduce phase errors by delaying higher frequencies, making sure they arrive at the same time as lower frequencies to reduce degradation caused by signal processing.

Vincent Audio launches the SV-200 hybrid integrated amplifier-- a "little brother" to the SV-237MK and the SV-700 featuring two 6N1 vacuum tubes in the input stage complementing digital inputs and built-in DAC.

According to the company, the hybrid design offers the rich audio associated with vacuum tubes while providing the power and control of solid-state electronics. The DAC handles the latest high-resolution streaming formats, including WAV, FLAC, AIFF and APE, among others, while the power supply features Elco capacitors for buffering to keep the electric current clean and noise-free.

Marantz announces the PM7000N integrated amplifier-- the first fully discrete hifi amp with high resolution audio streaming capability thanks to the inclusion of HEOS Built-in, as well as support for regular high-res audio.

HEOS Built-in allows customers to stream high resolution music from Amazon HD, Spotify, Pandora, Tidal and more, as well as playback from local music file libraries. Also included are Bluetooth and Apple AirPlay 2 capability. HEOS Built-in allows the PM7000N delivers music throughout the home to compatible speakers and components, creating a wireless, whole-home audio experience.
