Samsung unveils its D9500 in Korea-- a 75" "Premium" Smart TV for the times when "big" may just be too big.
The company claims it is the biggest 3D flat panel set yet, offering LED backlighting, 1080p resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate. However one requires active shutter glasses for the 3D effect.
Being a connected TV (via built-in wifi), it also has the usual gamut of internet features-- including web browsing, Skype and games through an included qwerty touchscreen flip remote. Users can also use their Samsung Galaxy smartphones or tablets as a remote via app.
The monster TV should hit Korea this July, before making its way to our shore sometime this year.
