Extron unveils its Foxbox HDMI fiber optic transmitter and receiver set at Amsterdam's ISE.

The Foxbox carries pixel-for-pixel HDMI images (up to WUXGA and HDTV 1080p/60) via Extron's all digital zero-compression technology. Its features include Key Minder, EDID Minder, Auto Input memory, RS-232 control from multiple locations, internal test patterns and real-time system monitoring.

The transmitter and receiver set is compatible with FOX series amplifiers, switchers, matrix switchers and VGA/DVI extenders (when transmitting non-HDCP content).

It is available in multi- and single-mode models, in a compact, low profile enclosure.
