Legrand launches a mounting plate accessory and network interface modules for the On-Q plastic structured wiring enclosures, allowing customers to mount 3rd party devices and connect a wifi router or switch to wired networking locations.

Developed together with rack and cable management experts at Middle Atlantic Products, the AC1050 5-inch mounting plate allows the mounting of a variety of 3rd party devices into the enclosures. The mounting hole pattern is inspired by the Middle Atlantic Level Lock System for small AV devices, providing flexible mounting options. Construction is in durable, wifi-transparent ABS plastic, and it can be mounted either vertically or horizontally (half-width) within the On-Q plastic enclosures to fit any configuration. The unit has 1.5-inches of elevation to support mounting devices on both sides of the plate, freeing up space in the enclosure and accommodating protruding devices such as antennas. The package comes complete with 90cm of hook and loop velcro strapping to safely secure wired and wireless devices.

Meanwhile the six-port AC106A6 network interface module promises reliable networking with maximum data throughput. It supports Cat-6a cable connections, and terminates up to 6 data lines to connect high-speed devices like PCs, smart TVs, gaming systems and network streaming devices to the home network. The unit mounts in On-Q plastic enclosures and provides access to front-mounted 110-IDC terminals and RJ45 connectors. The brackets are UL-listed and designed to exceed TIA/EIA 568-C.2 industry standards, with reinforced plastic construction to support proper punch-down terminations and maintain wifi transparency.
