AudioControl Adds to AVRs and AV processors

AudioControl announces three AV receivers (AVRs) and two AV processors, with all 5 units sharing the same industrial designs. The AVRs make part of the Concert series, while the processors belong to the Maestro range.

AudioControl Maestro

The Maestro X9 and X7 are 16-channel immersive audio high-performance preamp/processors. Both support 9.1.6 Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and IMAX Enhanced, with 16-channels of balanced and unbalanced output and a full complement of inputs, including x7 HDMI 2.0b inputs with full support for 4K UHD and HDR playback. Dirac Live room correction and ESS Sabre DACs are also included, while connectivity comes through Google Cast, AirPlay 2, aptX Bluetooth and wifi.

The Concert series of immersive AVRs includes the XR-8, XR-6 and XR-4. The three models feature Dirac room correction, and the XR-6 and XR-8 add AURO 3D. All models have 6 channels of user-configurable outputs, ideal for high-pass channels, additional subwoofers and height channels. Further features include 16-channels of output, integrated web-based configuration, app-based control and Google Cast, AirPlay 2, aptX Bluetooth and wifi streaming connectivity.

The XR-8 delivers 9.1.6 channels of HDMI 2.0b with 16 channels of output together with 7 channels of high-current class H amplified output at 200W into 4 ohms. The XR-6 delivers delivers 9.1.6 channels of HDMI 2.0b with 16 channels of output, plus 7 channels of class AB amplified output at 100W per channel into 8 ohms, and the XR-4 delivers 7.1 channels of HDMI 2.0b with 11 channels of output and 7 channels of class AB amplified output at 60W per channel into 8 ohms.
