CEDIA responds to the ongoing coronavirus (aka Covid-19) pandemic by offering members a slate of remote training opportunities, with hours of valuable learning available at zero charge.
"We're facing unprecedented challenges right now at work and at home and CEDIA is here to provide valuable resources to keep our members nimble, educated, and ready for what's next," the association says. "Opening our courses and white papers up for all members and providing additional ways to grow professionally is the right thing to do. CEDIA is here to help members and the industry as a whole navigate the uncertainty."
Members can log on to CEDIA.net to access a wide variety of online courses, webinars and white paper resources. An online Resource Centre gives members legal, regulatory and commercial information the CEDIA legal firm regarding the coronavirus, as well as industry and governmental resources. In addition, CEDIA plans to host live webinars and increase the frequency of the CEDIA podcast to twice a week, and members can use the CEDIA Community to connect with peers and discuss issues impacting business.
CEDIA also announces the extension of the submission deadline for the CEDIA Awards to 30 April for all regions.
