The ANX 7150 line of switches is aimed at installers in need of reliable and scalable networking solutions for residential and commercial applications. It has the same features as the original Ruckus-branded ICX switches, but with Access Networks branding. The line includes 7 switches, offering a variety of options installers can tailor to the size of scope of any projects. A combination of up to 12 switches per stack can be employed, with long-distance stacking up to 10km using standard optics or cables.

The switches offer up to 8x10 GbE ports for uplinks or stacking, and each can be seamlessly integrated with Access Networks wireless products to deliver unified wired and wireless network access. In addition, Access Networks Multigigabit Ethernet technology, available in the Z-series switch model, offers the bandwidth required to optmise the performance of high-performance wireless access points over standard ethernet cables.

The three models in the range include the standard ANX 7150 switches, available in 24- and 48-port 10/100/1000Mbps models with four 1/10GbE dual-purpose uplink/standard ports. The switches come with or without PoE+ power. THe 48-port Z-series switch, the ANX 7150-48ZP, adds higher performance, greater resilience and increased PoE power together with Multigigabit technology and dual redundant hot-swappable power supplies and fans. For applications with limited space, the ANX 7150 C12P compact switch comes with 12 ports, PoE+ output and a fan-less design for silent operation.

“The addition of Access Networks switches as a part of our product line-up is a great achievement and something we believe our dealers will benefit from,” the company says. “Our dealers already have a lot of success with Access Networks Wireless products, and now that we have Access Networks switches, we can provide a channel exclusive wired and wireless network including our best-in-class support and warranty.”
