Window treatment maker Silent Gliss receives Control4 and KNX certification for Smart by Silent Gliss, a smart home shading system providing benefits such as bottom bar alignment, up synchronisation and complex scene settings.
Launched earlier this year, Smart by Silent Gliss promises to give intelligence to motorised curtains and blinds. Smart shading systems allow customers to schedule curtains to open and close at particular times, with the convenience of operation using a range of devices. Pre-programmed scenes are also possible for different moods and settings, and the blinds move automatically when no one is home for added security.
Finally the window treatments operate to avoid overheating or heat loss, making the home more energy efficient. Making integration even easier is official certification by both Control4 and KNX, meaning the "Smart" drivers have successfully passed testing for recognition as Control4 and KNX certified partners.
