URC announces a two-way module for Total Control of Qadvanced automated roller shading systems from QMotion, allowing customers to easily control groups of shades in the home, office or light commercial facilities.
Available to authorised dealers via the URC dealer portal, the module makes it easy for residential or commercial end users to raise, lower, stop and set the level of individual or groups of QMotion automated roller shades using any Total Control interface. Users can also adjust roller shades to desired levels using activity macros, such as "Dinner Time" or "Party Modes," as well as automatically raise or lower shades based on time of day.
Geofencing technology allows the system to automatically raise or lower QMotion shades (or groups thereof) when the end user arrives in the driveway or is driving within a pre-determined distance of the home or commercial facility. The QMotion QzHub app allows users to creat ore change groups of motorised shades, and it automatically syncs with the URC Total Control system.
To facilitate connectivity between the two systems, the QzHub3 controller is required for both battery-operated and/or hardwired automated shade offerings. A single controller supports up to 40 shades when used with range extenders.
