Sonance adds a sound system option for residential and commercial projects with the Pro Series PS-S210SUBT, a 100V bandpass subwoofer featuring a very shallow design, allowing for deployment in a range of specialised applications.

The PS-S210SUBT comes inside a slimline polyurethane-coated laminated-plywood enclosure measuring 228 x 350mm. Inside are twin 10-inch low profile, high excursion drivers. A choice of front or side cabinet port locations offers additional installation versatility for applications such as placing under furniture, on walls or mounted to the sides of the rafters.

The subwoofer is able to drop to 44Hz at a maximum free-air SPL of 121dB, and is designed to compliment Pro Series pendant, In-Ceiling and On-Wall speakers. It features Sonance Laminated Core Technology Transformer (SLCT) to deliver full-fidelity performance in either 70 or 100V mode. When combined with a built-in low pass filter, it can be driven on the same feed as other full-range loudspeakers in a system, avoiding the need for an additional amplifier and DSP.

Joining the PS-S210SUBT is the S10-i, an active sub aimed at smaller home theatre applications. A compact entry-level cube, it adds high output bass dynamics to satellite systems in dedicated or media room spaces. Mounted to a textured black finish cabinet measuring 300 x 310 x 320mm, it sports a 10-inch ultra-long throw woofer driven by a low distortion 275W (550W peak) amplifier. Also included are dual line-level inputs and volume, crossover and variable phase controls.
