The ZH403 is 4K and HDR compatible, and features 1.3x zoom and built-in sound system. Installers can set up in virtually any orientation, thanks to 360-degree installation and portrait projection. The laser light source and direct power on/direct power off mean the ZH403 requires no time to warm up, and needs no cool-down time. Max brightness totals 4000 ANSI lumens.

The projector is IPX-rated against dust, and offers an energy-saving "auto power off" setting to ensure it is never left running. Control comes through a a range of options, including RJ45 and RS23, and it supports Crestron, Extron, AMX, PJ-Link and Telnet LAN commands, allowing installers to monitor and support the model remotely.

“The new lamp-less ZH403 offers complete flexibility with a range of features to accommodate diverse spaces,” Optoma says. “Laser technology maintains excellent image quality as brightness and colour saturation is preserved for longer compared to lamp systems. Aside from the increased flexibility, reliability and performance, the ZH403 will soon pay for itself in savings over traditional lamp-based projectors, virtually eliminating running costs.”
