Savant presents the Smart Audio Amplifier-- an addition to the Smart Series range featuring AirPlay 2 and HomeKit support, as well as popular music streaming services and 24-bit/96kHz high-resolution playback with ultra-low latency.
The SmartAmp offers 125W per channel out of the box, and features and onboard DSP engine optimised for all Savant loudspeakers, including the PoE-enabled Micro Aperture speakers. The DSP supports an EQ enabling precise fine audio tuning, while the Savant Music app provides easy setup and customisation of shortcuts to favourite music and artists.
According to the company, customers can bring together multiple SmartAmps and Micro Aperture speakers to create a premium distributed audio system complete with rooms, entertainment scenes, playlists and favourites. The SmartAmp offers an array of digital and analog inputs and outputs, allowing for plug-and-play connectivity with entertainment devices such as TVs and media players.
Savant adds the SmartAmp is fully upgradeable to a complete Savant smart home system, giving customers the flexibility to add intelligent functionality down the road. It is available from Q3 2019.
