AMX and COMM-TEC announce the companies are working together to establish a regional office for AMX near Stuttgart. AMX Central Europe will be responsible for sales, marketing and technical support for Germany, Austria, and Eastern Europe.

The office for AMX Central Europe will start trading April 1, 2008. It will house sales and technical support staff and will include classrooms for AMX University, the company’s worldwide training programme, and a Product Showroom, which will provide a venue for AMX dealers, industry consultants, architects and interior designers to showcase and demonstrate AMX solutions to their customers. Timothy Penn, managing director of AMX Europe, will oversee operations until a general manager has been named for AMX Central Europe.
