  • PDF

Modus VR announces a set of updates for its home theatre design platform-- including the ability to create non-rectangular room via 2D Floor Plan Editor, as well means to zoom, change ceiling height and, when ready, open in the plans in VR.

Modus VRInstallers can also use Modus VR with more clients, and spend less time building rooms and more time selling. In addition, the software includes 4 new Sony projectors, a ping-pong table and a club chair, enabling users to expand beyond dedicated theatre environments to media rooms and the aforementioned non-rectangular spaces. Seats even move up and down as the riser height changes.

Customers can experience home theatre and media room plans in VR before starting construction. Modus VR allows one to change plans on the fly, allowing installers to show off different screen sizes, seating configurations and the like. Every client space is recreated within minutes, and the solution factors in room size, space shape and window and door spaces. One can even customise select style elements, such as room colour or artwork on the walls.

“Modus VR sets the standard for excellence in room design software using advanced VR technology,” the company claims. “We will continue to maintain this standard by incorporating ongoing software updates that enhance the creativity, flexibility and sales productivity of the platform for our customers. Our goal is to enable our customers to sell more AV solutions, faster and more profitably than ever before.”
