Electronic perimeter detection and high performance LED maker GJD announces the direct integration of the TechSmart device line with Lutron and Rako home automation devices.

The TechSmart range consists of proximity detectors, precision laser sensors, IR and white-light LED illuminators. Installers can integrate all these devices with Lutron and Rako lighting control systems, facilitating greater efficiency, creative applications and flexible home automation solutions. Every event generated by a TechSmart devices, such as a motion alert or low light alert, can trigger a customised action within Rako and Lutron controllers.

The integration capability is embedded within GJD firmware, and is configurable via the web interface. For Lutron one has to enter the Lutron Phantom Keypad ID and button number, while for Rako one has to enter Room number and command to recall. Installers can also program bespoke effects for Lutron and Rako lighting systems, including the dimming of a single light, a complete scene or even a complex lighting sequence, all in response to a TechSmart activated event.
