Home control module/driver specialist Chowmain announces a two-way VSSL A.6 module for URC Total Control 2.0, allowing customers to control VSSL matrixed amplifiers through URC products.
The module is sponsored by VSSL and officially certified by URC. It allows control and feedback, including input switching, discrete volume, mote, play, pause, stop, remote streaming event tracking and now playing updates, with automatic discovery upon MAC address entry and self healing in case of IP address changes.
VSSL matrixed amplifiers feature embedded streaming technologies built into each zone, allowing independent Google Cast, Apple Airplay and Spotify Connect streams. Thus users in different rooms can listen to own music streamed from iPhones, iPads, Android devices and even Google Home. In addition, the amplifiers provide matrixed analog inputs installers can connect to various sources for distribution around the home, and bus line outputs for connection to other amplifiers and receivers.
