Gira announces the updated System 3000 blind controller at Light + Building 2018-- featuring integrated lighting and blind controls to allow for a controller fitting all system top units.
The top units can automatically detect whether they are placed on a light or blind insert, and adjust functionality accordingly. The result is a comprehensive system consisting of a few components, lowering required storage volume.
Previously the System 3000 consisted of Standard and Memory operating top units together with a blind timer with display. The update adds 4 top units, namely the Gira System 3000 blind timer and timer Bluetooth, the Gira System 3000 motion detector top unit 1.10 m Standard, the Gira System 3000 motion detector top unit 2.20 m Komfort Bluetooth and the Gira System 3000 presence and motion detector 360-degree top unit Bluetooth.
Bluetooth allows customers to control the system via smartphone or tablet and the Gira companion app. Manual or automatic control of functions, programming and operation also come as standard.
