TPVision-owned Philips reveals a range of LED and OLED TVs for 2018, with models including the entry-level 4K 6503 series, the HDR10+ capable 8303 and 5203 series, and no less than 5 OLED screens.

Philips 2018 TVsOn the LED side, the 6503 entry-level 4K series features in 43-, 50-, 55- and 65-inch models. All carry HDR support, Ambilight technology, a "Pixel Precise Ultra" processing engine and the Philips Saphi UI. Following on these models are the 7303 TVs, coming in the same sizes but adding DTS-HD Premium audio processing and the "P5 Perfect Picture" processing engine. The TVs run on Android, and as should feature Google Assistant voice control.

The 7803 series is identical to the 7303, if with different sizes (49-, 55-, 65- and 75-inch) and improved "premium European design" complete with an aluminium finish. As for top of the range LED TVs, Philips offers the 8303 and 8503, both adding HDR10+ to the Ambilight, picture processing, audio processing and smart interface features. The 8303 series comes in 49-, 55-, 65- and 75-inch, while the 49-, 55- and 65-inch 8503 models add a soundbar doubling as a stand.

As for OLED TVs, Philips offers 5 options-- the 65-inch OLED 873 (a "big brother" to last year's 55-inch POS9002), the OLED 803 (available in 55- and 65-inch sizes) and the top of the range 65-inch OLED 973. All TVs feature P5 Perfect Picture Processing and Ambilight technology, with the OLED 973 adding a 6.1-channel 60W "visible sound system" soundbar/stand.

Philips says the above mentioned TVs will hit the market sometime during H1 2018.
