Datapath launches ActiveConnect-- a long-range fibre optic DisplayPort 1.2 and HDMI 2.0 cable series reaching lengths up to 100m with no need for additional power.
The cables measure just 7mm in diameter and are designed to provide direct connection from any graphics card, including the Datapath ImageDP4, to either DisplayPort or HDMI monitors. The cables also handle transmission from media players to Datapath HDMI or DisplayPort capture cards.
As well as requiring no additional power ActiveConnect cables can carry full 4K signals at 60fps to suit all high resolution applications. The cables are HDCP compliant to allow the use of protected sources and Plenum-rated, ensuring safe installation in building cavities such as walls, floors or ceilings.
Making installation easier together with the 7mm diameter is a weight of just 15g pre-metre (including connectors) and a maximum bend of 6mm.
ActiveConnect cables are available with either DisplayPort 1.2 or HDMI 2.0 connectors in lengths of either 25, 50 and 100m.
