Extron starts shipping the XTP R HWP 201, a Decora-style wall plate receiver for XTP systems featuring a design ideal for the space constraints behind wall-mounted displays.
It features an HDMI output connector oriented upward at a 90-degree angle to minimize stress on the cable and allow low-profile flat panel display installation.
The HDCP-compliant receiver accepts signals from up to 100m distance over single shielded CATx cable, and outputs video, output, control and ethernet with HD video support, including 1080p/60 Deep Colour.
It also provides HDMI audio de-embedding with analog stereo output and volume control.
An XTP CrossPoint matrix switcher provides remote power, while EDID Miner handles continuous EDID communication between devices.
Further features include Key Minder (authenticates and maintains HDCP encryption), a cable tie-down point for secure HDMI connection, LAN and bidirectional control ports, and front panel RS232 and IR insertion ports.
