Pioneer returns to the European TV market after a 5-year absence via partnership with Dixons-- the retail chain gets exclusive rights to "source, develop, produce, and sell Pioneer TVs" in select European markets.

The Pioneer TV roll-out will kick off in the Nordics from December 2013, before extending to the UK sometime in the future.

Plasma fans will be saddened to learn the much loved Kuro line will not make a comeback-- the Pioneer HDTVs Dixons will offer are LCD only, in 40-, 46- and 55-inch sizes. All are to pack 3D and Smart TV capabilities.
