Bang & Olufsen launches its next TV iteration with the BeoVision 12-65 New Generation-- a 65-inch plasma TV with an additional surround sound module for the creation of the acoustic equivalent of a 7.1 system.
The module joins a built-in centre-channel speaker, and users can connect it to any number of additional speakers. The TV features a number of preset sound modes, with the option to create custom options.
Meanwhile TrueImage technology adapts sound by either up- or down-mixing audio signals to match the amount of available speakers.
Further BeoVision 12-65 features include the BeoSystem 4 video engine (a standalone device acting as connectivity hub), active 3D capability and a 360-degree motorised stand.
Construction is in aluminium, with a speaker grill in an exciting new colour-- topaz grey.
The BeoVision 12-65 should hit European markets from September 2013.
