You miss controlling TVs not with remotes but with rotary dials? Those were the days, right? LG appears to think so as it launches a retro twist on the regular LCD TV with the 3LN630R Classic TV.
Of course, the 3LN630R is actually a modern 32-inch HDTV. It features a IPS panel boasting "high colour accuracy" and 178-degree viewing angles, as well as USB and MHL connectivity for use with external HDDs and mobile devices.
However all ships inside a 70s-style wooden frame complete with working channel and volume rotary controls-- if without the bulkiness of CRT technology.
S. Koreans can get their nostalgia-driven TV fix now, but LG gives no word if the 3LN630R will be available in European territories any time in the near future.
