CEDIA Region 1 announces a landmark British location for its annual Awards ceremony-- The Pavilion at the Tower of London on 28 June 2013.

The Awards should host over 300 guests, with the black-tie ceremony taking place in an exclusive marquee within the North Moat.

"The CEDIA Awards are a celebration of the residential custom installation industry and the event provides members with a fitting platform on which to showcase their expertise and achievements." CEDIA Region 1 executive director Wendy Griffiths says. "Following on from the sellout event of 2012 we want the 2013 Awards to continue the momentum and remain a worthy celebration of our industry."

Previous CEDIA Awards have taken place at Hampton Court Palace, One Mayfair, the Globe Theatre, The Brewery and Vinopolis.

Built by William the Conqueror in 1078, the Tower of London has played many roles aside from hosting the CEDIA Awards-- including place of execution, armory, prison, public records office and a zoo. It is also the oldest royal castle in Europe.
