Klipsch introduces the 5th generation of the Quintet 5.1 all-in-one audio system with "significant technological refinements" improving sound even further.
The system features 4 satellite speakers and a dedicate centre channel speaker-- each carrying the 90-degree by 90-degree Tractrix horn expanding both placement flexibility and main listening area. A lightweight aluminium tweeter acts as an efficient driver while Linear Travel Suspension reduces distortion and enhances dynamics.
Completing the package are new long-throw injection molded graphite (IMG) woofers.
Cabinet construction is in AcoustaComp, a specialised material Klipsch says is naturally dense, rigid and acoustically inert.
The Quintet speakers are available in either satin or brushed black finish and will start shipping from September 2012.
