Antelope Audio introduces the Rubicon-- a 384 kHz digital audio preamplifier the company claims is the first to integrate 10M Rubidium atomic clock.
According to Antelope the atomic clock provides 10000 times more accurate reference than a traditional crystal oscillator, and coupled with 64-bit acoustically focused clocking technology the Rubicon supposedly achieves "a breakthrough in jitter management."
The Rubicon also includes ultra-high sample rate A/D conversion and USB recording capability, allowing custoemrs to digitise favourite tracks while keeping the "warmth" of original analog recordings.
DLNA capability allows the wireless pushing of audio files from smartphones, PCs or NAS servers, with playback through the high-sample rate DAC.
